Reflection:
Google maps, Google Earth, and the Lit Trips are amazing tools to use in the classroom. I loved the Google maps virtual tours, this will allow students not only to see features of a specific place's landscape but also give them an idea of the culture (how people dress, the different types of restaurants, the buildings, etc.). I also enjoyed learning about all of the features that Google Earth has to offer. I would have my students use this app when wanting to research a specific area or country. This app gave a lot of knowledge whether it was animal tracking in an area, making a route/path in a city, or allowing them to look into space and see the different planets and constellations. Lit Trips was also a great tool for the classroom, allowing students to see the historical places that took place in a book will give them a better understanding of the situation as a whole. I definitely could see myself using all three of these tools in the classroom to help bring geography and technology into my lessons.
